One San Miguel Avenue selected Philippines' Outstanding Skyscraper The Architectural Archives Philippines, a collaboration between the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) and the Philippine Institute of Architects (PIA), has produced a list of twelve (12) outstanding Philippine skyscrapers.
One San Miguel Avenue, towering at a height of 207 meters through 54 storeys, is celebrated as one of the highest among the buildings that made it to the archives.
Boasting a design by multi-awarded Architect Philip H. Recto, One San Miguel Avenue sets the standards amongst the giants of Philippine high-rise mixed-use buildings. Standing at third among the Philippines’ tallest structures, One San Miguel Avenue remains the first skyscraper designed completely by a local architectural firm without the help or association with foreign design consultants.
One San Miguel Avenue is most distinctive through its curved roof structure and strategically segmented façade. Rising above the many structures of Ortigas Center and far from the cluster of high-rise buildings, it can be seen standing all on its own from many parts of Metro Manila, easily acting as a landmark for one of the fastest growing Central Business Districts in the country.
