Arch. Recto Invited as Metrobank's Design Competition JudgeFor the second time in a row, the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence awards (MADE) has invited Architect Philip H. Recto to be a member of their board of judges for the Architecture category.
MADE continues to be a venue for showcasing Filipino talent in a variety of art forms. With a vision of continuous development and excellence through the incentives given by such a program, it draws entries from all over the Philippines in the four categories namely: oil on canvas (painting category 1), watercolor (painting category 2), sculpture, architecture and interior design.
The panel of judges is made up of four to five respected and known individuals per category in their respective fields of specialty.
The recently concluded 2006 MADE Exhibit was showcased at Le Pavilion in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. Presenting winners and notable entries alike, the week-long exhibition displayed some of the finest works of Philippine art, design and craftsmanship and attracted a huge crowd.
