Arch. Philip Recto is PFPA 2008 Professional of the Year
Prominent architect Philip H. Recto of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) has been selected one of the recipients of the prestigious 2008 PFPA Excellence Award recently. Bestowed by the Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA), the award recognized ten outstanding professionals this year chosen from among nominees of 43 professional organizations representing more than one million registered professionals in the Philippines including doctors, nurses, engineers, lawyers, teachers, accountants, etc. The awarding was held last Nov. 18 at the Manila Hotel.
The Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA) is the umbrella organization of all professionals in the Philippines covering 43 professional organizations grouped under 4 permanent councils, namely; Council of Professional Health Association (COPHA); Council for Business & Management Professionals (CBMP); Philippine Technological Council (PTC) and the Council for the Built and Natural Environment (CBNE) where the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) is a member. |
